The robust Mitel 632 DECT phone meets the requirements for use in demanding working environments and is ideally suited to a wide range of sectors. The handset is made from plastics protected with a silver-based coating from BioCote Limited, which inhibits the growth of certain viruses and bacteria on phone surfaces. Its solid construction, combined with the emergency call button, makes it an ideal companion for users in hospitals, care facilities and safety-critical professions.

Sensor alarms:

  • Thanks to its integrated sensor alarms, the phone is ideal for use in security services or correctional facilities. When the position alarm is activated, the phone automatically detects whether it is in a position suggesting that the employee may be in a threatening situation – and, if necessary, sends an alarm to a predefined number. An additional emergency call button makes the 632dt an ideal companion for safety-critical professions as well as hospitals and care facilities.

Antimicrobial test methods:

The plastic surfaces of the DECT phone, desktop charger and belt clip are protected by a coating containing a BioCote compound, which has been proven to inhibit the growth of certain viruses and bacteria on the phone surfaces by up to 99.9%*, as shown by independent laboratory tests in accordance with the following ISO standards:

  • ISO 22196-2011 - Measurement of antibacterial activity on plastics and other non-porous surfaces
  • ISO 21702-2019 - Measurement of antiviral activity on plastics and other non-porous surfaces
